Save a Radio Station as a Cassette

Favorite stations shouldn't live in a separate corner of the app. In Audionix they sit on the shelf with everything else.

Find a station you like in the Radio tab and tap the heart. The station is saved to your library as a cassette of its own.

On the shelf

After that it shows up in the coverflow beside your albums. Insert it like any other tape and it starts streaming. There's no need to go back through the directory.

Why this feels right

A radio station is something you tune to, and a cassette is something you slide in. Audionix treats the first as the second, and in practice that means your morning station and your favorite album are one flick apart.

Keep in mind

A saved station is still a live stream, so it needs a connection to play. Your local tapes don't. If you're heading somewhere with no signal, pick a folder tape instead (see listening offline).
